Concentration Areas
All students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in History may select a concentration area as a specialization for their Degree. We offer the following areas of concentration:
History: 7-12 Teacher Preparation Concentration, Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Science in History with a concentration in History: 7-12 Teacher Preparation Concentration, Bachelor of Science
prepares students for teaching at the middle and high school level. Students will also work closely with the Teacher Education Program to gain the experience and necessary skills to thrive, lead, and innovate in the classroom.
The program also provides students with foundational knowledge in the following:

- Childhood Adolescence
- Educational Psychology
- Foundations of Education
- Educational Media and Technology
- And Much More!
Requirements
This concentration requires a total of 40 credit hours.
