Hands-On Learning
We take pride in providing a strong foundation of science for our undergraduate program and offer a proactive hands-on learning experience. We have a collaborative department culture, where we like to recognize our student accomplishments and outstanding performance. Through the adoption of cutting-edge technology, we offer laboratories and facilities that provide students a number of opportunities to work one-on-one or in small groups with faculty members. Students are encouraged to take advantage of both laboratory and field-based research.
