The Pack Promise

The Pack Promise, similar to Colorado Promise for new students, is a free tuition initiative for our current Colorado resident undergraduate students enrolling in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.

Current students that meet the criteria below are eligible for a one-time free tuition scholarship for the fall and spring semesters.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1 for the Fall 2025 semester*
  • Have a total family income of $70,000 or less based on the FAFSA
  • Be an in-state, undergraduate, degree-seeking student
  • Be enrolled full-time (12 or more credits per semester)
  • Promise pays for a maximum of 15 credits per semester
  • Eligibility is determined annually based on the student maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 at CSU Pueblo
  • Awards are limited to a total of four years for freshmen and two years for transfer and returning students

*Students who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA must complete the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) by May 1 for the Fall 2025 semester.
