Student Mail
Student Mailroom
The Auxiliary Office in Occhiato Student Center (OSC) 212 acts as the Student Mailroom.
Basic Process:
- All mail is delivered to the University Physical Plant.
- The Facilities team sorts the mail by University area - faculty, staff, and students.
- The Facilities team delivers mail to the various locations on campus. For student mail, the Facilities team delivers it to the Auxiliary Office.
- The Auxiliary team then checks the student names against the Housing roster and mailbox numbers.
- Student packages are scanned and entered into the package notification system. Emails or texts are sent based on the student information provided on the housing application.
- Packages are kept in the Auxiliary Services offices and will only be given out to the student listed when the student presents their student ID.
- Student mail is taken each business day by 4pm to the Residence Hall mailboxes. Students living in Walking Stick do not have mailboxes and can retrieve their mail from the Auxiliary Services Office in OSC 212.
- If larger envelopes do not fit into the mailbox, they will be scanned into the package system and students will pick them up from the Auxiliary Services office.
Student Mailing Address:
(Student First and Last Name)
(Name of Residence Hall/Walking Stick)
CSU Pueblo
2290 Bonforte Blvd
Pueblo, CO 81001
Points to remember:
- Make sure your package/mail has your first and last name. Without a full name, the package/mail will be returned.
- Make sure it is the student's name - not a parent's name. Students will not be allowed to pick up packages addressed to a parent or other person.
- While you may have a "packaged delivered" message from the carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc), it may take a day or two to process through the University's mail system. Wait for the university email/text to know when you are able to pick it up.
- You may order through Amazon and have it directly delivered to the Amazon lockers in the OSC. The lockers are directly outside of the Bookstore entrance. This is done outside of the University process. If Amazon delivers it to the address listed above, it will be entered into the University process.
- If you move halls, you are responsible for updating your information with Auxiliary Services to receive a new mailbox number. Moving rooms within the same hall does not impact your mailbox number.
- Mailbox numbers are random and do not mirror your room number. Your room number is private and is not be given out for delivery purposes.
Sending Mail
Students may send mail from Auxiliary Services. The letter or package must be addressed properly with the appropriate postage. Auxiliary Services does not provide or sale envelopes or stamps. Mail/packages collected at Auxiliary Services will be sent to the Physical Plant to be mailed the next business day.
