Facility amenities allow for a variety of activities for members to improve overall health and well-being. The Student Recreation Center is a recreational, fitness and health focal point for the campus. We serve Colorado State University-Pueblo students, faculty, staff and the greater Pueblo community.



ThunderWolf Recreation offers trips and experiential programs; sport and fitness programs; and offers equipment rental to enhance students' educational experiences beyond the classroom and promote experiential learning. Many of our services and programs are also available to our non-student members, guests and outside groups.

Member Services

We pride ourselves on having space in our facility to host a variety of services and equipment to focus on becoming a healthier, happier people. When you purchase a membership at the Rec, you get more than just a place to exercise, you are get a whole community of people like you, people who want a place that they can call their own!


Rec Center located at the northwest corner of Bartley Blvd & Rawlings Blvd.

  • From CO-47 East Bound: Take the Bonforte Blvd exit & turn left, then turn right onto Bartley Blvd to Rawlings Blvd.
  • From CO-47 West Bound: Take the Troy Ave exit & turn right. Next turn left onto Alamosa Dr. Then turn right onto Bartley Blvd to Rawlings Blvd.


The parking lot adjacent to the Rec Center requires a pass. Those without a pass are subject to ticketing.

  • Day members can obtain a daily parking pass from the main desk at the Rec.
  • Community members must obtain a campus parking pass as a Rec Member. These parking passes are obtained at the Sheriff's Office, ADM 118. Phone 719.549.2373


ThunderWolf Rec is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please secure your belongings in the lockers provided throughout the facility.

  • Day-use lockers are free. Please provide your own lock. 
  • Lockers can be rented by members for $25/semester.
