Bio

I started my social work career after retiring from the Army and was working in substance use treatment and domestic violence. I then moved on to working in substance use treatment and mental health. I have been teaching since Fall 2017 and in Fall 2020 I became the MSW Program Coordinator. I am working on my Capstone for my Doctorate in Social Work which I hope to have completed before the end of 2021.

Research Interests

The impact of stigma on seeking substance use treatment.
