Basic Needs Request

The Student Affairs Basic Needs Fund provides immediate* assistance to students in need. In collaboration with the Pack CARES team, the Basic Needs Fund works to fill the gap for our students, so they are more likely to be retained and persist through graduation. Only current students can apply for assistance. This fund may cover expenses related to an immediate and vital need but may not be used for non-essential items, entertainment or recreation, or expenses for families or friends.

*Turnaround time is based on the when the request is submitted and how responsive the student is in following up with the Case Manager. The committee strives to determine awards within two business days. The student must be in communication with a Case Manager, or appointed Student Affairs staff member, to receive assistance.

To provide the largest impact for our student population, awards are limited to once per semester.
