Colorado State University Pueblo (CSU Pueblo) celebrated the remarkable achievements of its student leaders and organizations at the annual Student Leadership Awards ceremony. The event, held on April 9th, 2024, recognized individuals and groups who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and service to the campus community.

Among the distinguished awardees were:

Individual Awards:

Campus Collaborator: Arielle Collins was honored for her exceptional ability to foster collaboration among students, faculty, and staff, enhancing the campus community's cohesion and effectiveness.

Champion of Diversity Award: Arielle Collins received additional recognition for her commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus, fostering a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Emerging Leader of the Year: Adriana Figueroa was recognized for her outstanding potential and demonstrated leadership skills, making significant contributions to the university community.

Greek Leader of the Year: Faith Valdez was celebrated for her exemplary leadership within the Greek community, demonstrating dedication to the values of brotherhood/sisterhood, service, and academic excellence.

Most Valuable Thunderwolf: Teona Pop-Stojanova was honored for her outstanding contributions to the CSU Pueblo community, embodying the spirit of excellence and dedication.

Service Award: Diomara Balbuena Romero was commended for her exemplary service and commitment to making a positive impact on campus and in the surrounding community.

Thunderwolf Spirit Award: Tiffani Wilbur was recognized for her enthusiastic spirit and unwavering support of CSU Pueblo athletics and campus events.

Student Employee of the Year: Trevez Bridgewater was honored for his exceptional performance and dedication as a student employee, making significant contributions to the university's operations and success.

 Organizational Awards:

Emerging Student Organization of the Year: The Hispanic Business Student Association was recognized for its rapid growth, impactful initiatives, and dedication to serving the needs of Hispanic students and the broader campus community.

Fraternity/Sorority of the Year: Alpha Psi Lambda was celebrated for its commitment to academic excellence, leadership development, and service to others within the Greek community and beyond.

Membership Achievement Award: The Hispanic Business Student Association received additional recognition for its exceptional efforts in recruiting and retaining members, fostering a strong sense of belonging and engagement.

Outstanding Student Organization Advisor: Yaneth Correa-Martinez was honored for her exemplary guidance, support, and mentorship of student organizations, empowering students to succeed and make a difference on campus.

The Diane Blackwell President's Leadership Award: Kari Mosier & Jacob Martinez were recognized for their exceptional leadership, dedication, and positive impact on the CSU Pueblo community.

Threlked Prize for Excellence: Ryeim Ansaf was celebrated for his outstanding achievements and contributions to the university community, exemplifying excellence in leadership and service.
