Daniel Minich

The Colorado State University Pueblo Foundation is proud to announce and welcome 2020 Colorado State University Pueblo alumnus, Daniel Minich, as the Foundation’s digital donor relations coordinator. Daniel will be responsible for #LoveCSUPueblo Give Day, donor and alumni engagement.

Todd Kelly, president/CEO of CSU Pueblo Foundation, states, “We are excited to have Daniel’s enthusiasm and educational experience join our hard-working team to engage our donors and young alumni in the philanthropic process.”

Daniel most recently served as an admissions counselor for the office of admissions at CSU Pueblo, recruiting prospective students, maintaining communication with students and counselors and acting as a liaison to various departments across campus.

“CSU Pueblo has provided me and many other alumni a great education and place to achieve one’s goals. I am excited to give back to my alma mater through the donor engagement role, helping fundraise scholarships for ThunderWolves,” said Minich. “As a former foundation scholarship recipient, I am so excited to give back to those who helped me get my degree. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the friends and mentors through the Mass Communications department. The skills I learned, both in the classroom and out, will help fuel success as I brave this new frontier in donor relations and the non-profit world.”

Minich was born and raised in Pueblo and is a proud graduate of Pueblo West High School. He is a first generation college student who achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications in 2020, and is on track to graduate from Colorado State University Global with a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in strategic digital information marketing. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking his dog, spending time outdoors and baking. His favorite place in Pueblo is the Historic Carousel in City Park. Minich is most excited for the networking and outreach opportunities on behalf of the Foundation provided within his new role.

The CSU Pueblo Foundation provides more than $2.5 million in student scholarships annually and supports the philanthropic needs of CSU Pueblo.
