Club Prism of CSU-Pueblo celebrates diversity with formal dance

PUEBLO - In a celebration of diversity, the Prism Club at Colorado State University-Pueblo is holding a springtime prom for local high school and CSU-Pueblo students at 8 p.m., April 9 in the Occhiato University Center Ballroom. Students are encouraged to bring a guest of their choice and to dress in their finest for this formal event.
This event is free and open to students. Refreshment, snacks, and live music by DJ Jose Gutierrez will be provided.
Prism Club is a part of the LGBTQ+ community of Pueblo and are committed to providing a place and group of people in which members can be who they want to be and not be judged. Their discrimination-free events promote the individuality of the community and are open to all LGBTQ+ people and straight allies. Regular meetings of the club are held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in the CSU-Pueblo Underground Diversity Center.
