CSU-Pueblo art alumni to celebrate seven decades of success

PUEBLO - A new art exhibit at Colorado State University-Pueblo will celebrate seven decades of successful art alumni from across the country beginning in February. This is the first bi-annual art alumni event hosted by the CSU-Pueblo Department of Art.
A History of Making: Seven Decades of Art Alumni, which honors art alumni from the past seven decades who earned degrees from 1950-2013, will run from Feb. 2-27 in the Fine Art Gallery. A reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 in the gallery. Refreshments will be provided. The reception and show are free and open to all members of the community.
A silent auction of some of the pieces also is scheduled with proceeds or donations from this show funding scholarships for future art students.
