CSU-Pueblo hosts College Goal Sunday for parents, students

PUEBLO – Colorado State University-Pueblo will support the State of Colorado’s initiative to help college students and their parents find money for college by helping them complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at College Goal Sunday on February 9.
CSU-Pueblo will provide free, professional assistance filling out the FAFSA form, which is a crucial step in the college planning process. Students and parents will have an opportunity to talk to financial aid professionals about financial aid resources and how to apply as well as obtain information about state-wide student services, admission requirements, and more.
College Goal Sunday will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9 in the Library and Academic Resources Center (LARC) at CSU-Pueblo.
Social Security numbers for students and parents are necessary, and students and parents are encouraged to bring copies of W-2s and/or 2013 taxes (if completed).
Spanish speakers also will be available to help families complete the FAFSA. There are no costs associated with these services. For additional information, call 719-549-2753. No reservations are required.
