Secondary Certification
The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Teaching is for students who seek to obtain a K-12 teacher license in Mathematics. Students will also work closely with the Teacher Education Program to gain the experience and necessary skills to thrive, lead, and innovate in the classroom.
Students apply for formal admission to the teacher education program during the Frameworks in Education course (ED 301). In addition to coursework, students must pass a PRAXIS content exam for science prior to acceptance for student teaching during their last semester.

Requirements
The Secondary Certificate concentration requires a total of 37-40 credit hours.
