Peer Institutions
In 2007, the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) adopted a set of peer institutions for each of the state’s public colleges and universities. Peer institutions share common traits, making it possible to compare performance among similar institutions. Although the peer lists have been modified, they are still used today. The peer institutions below were approved by the CSU System Board of Governors in December 2011.
Below is the list of institutions hyperlinked to their main website:
- California State University-Stanislaus
- Emporia State University
- Midwestern State University
- Missouri Western State College
- University of Colorado at Colorado Springs
- University of Michigan-Flint
- University of South Carolina Upstate
- University of Tennessee-Martin
- University of Texas at Tyler
- Washburn University
Note: Augusta State was approved as a peer institution in 2011. However, after a merger with Georgia Health Sciences University, it is no longer considered a CSU-Pueblo peer.
