Earn Your Biology BS + MS in Five Years
The Biology 3+2 Program gives qualified undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology on an accelerated five-year pathway.
Admission Requirements
Students interested in the 3+2 pathway should begin planning early with Biology faculty so they can complete the required coursework and prepare their application on time.
Prerequisite Coursework
Before admission, students must have completed or be in the process of completing the following courses:
General Microbiology or Cell Biology
Mendelian & Population Genetics
Molecular Biology & Genetics
Organic Chemistry II and Lab
Principles of Physics II and Lab
Introduction to Statistics or Applied Calculus
One Academic Path. Two Degrees.
Instead of completing the bachelor's and master's degrees separately, qualified students can transition into graduate-level Biology coursework as part of an integrated five-year plan.
