Semester Long Opportunities

Semester Long Exchanges
Colorado State University Pueblo offers various forms of Study abroad and study away opportunities. We can arrange opportunities at one of our partner universities, Semester at Sea, National Student Exchange or you can review our affiliate partners for even more opportunities around the world.
Exchange Partners
Colorado State University Pueblo's Center for International Programs can arrange study abroad opportunities at any of our university partners or through our bilateral exchanges. Under these programs, CSU Pueblo students can study abroad for the cost of regular CSU Pueblo tuition and fees. Students are responsible for paying all others costs of the program as well such as travel, room and board, visas, health insurance or any other fees the pattern university has. Please contact the coordinator for more details. Students receiving financial aid and/or scholarships continue to collect these benefits while studying in another country.
Some of the universities in Asia and Europe, at which CSU Pueblo students can study, offer free language instruction in the summer. One year of college-level foreign language instruction is required for studying in a non-English speaking country. Please visit any of the links for more details.

Affiliate Partners
CSU Pueblo also offers semester-long exchanges through our affiliate partners. They offer semester long and shorter exchanges to multiple countries around the world. Please feel free to research any of our partners and decide if one of these programs works better for your academic needs.
National Student Exchange
National Student Exchange (NSE) is a program of over 160 colleges and universities that assist undergraduate students in attending Canadian and U.S. universities in almost every U.S. state, Canadian Province, and several U.S. territories for up to one year. You can also study abroad through universities with this program. Instead of crossing oceans, NSE students cross state, regional, provincial, and cultural borders. This is a great option for those who want a study away opportunity but may want to stay closer to home or do not want to learn a new language. Federally – funded financial aid may be used by eligible NSE participants enrolling at U.S. member colleges and universities. An application fee of $150.00 will be necessary for NSE Applicants.
Interested students can contact the Center and speak with the NSE coordinator, who will assist you in finding the right university with the right combination of courses, facilities, and environment to meet your academic and personal needs and interests. The Center is located in the Occhiato Student Center 104. Phone 719.549.2305.
For more information on studying abroad or NSE, contact Tristan Laner at 719.549.2208 or tristan.laner@csupueblo.edu to set up an appointment, or just stop by at the Center, OSC 104.
