About

The National Student Exchange (NSE) is a collegiate study-away program for undergraduate students at over 160 member colleges and universities. It allows students to spend a semester or academic year at campuses across the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. NSE is designed to be affordable, with most students paying tuition to their home campus or resident-rate tuition to the host campus, and financial aid typically applies. It's also accessible, often requiring minimal eligibility and no passport for most exchanges. Participants can broaden their academic perspectives, grow personally by experiencing new environments, and develop professionally through internships and improved communication skills. Beyond academics, NSE fosters personal growth by promoting independence, challenging students to adapt to new environments, and allowing them to experience diverse geographic and cultural settings.
