In-Person Master of Social Work Program
CSU Pueblo's in-person Master of Social Work program prepares students for advanced social work practice with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to serve diverse client populations, advocate for policy change, and promote social justice across systems of all sizes.
Weekend, In-Person Format
This MSW program offers biweekly, weekend, in-person classes. Students travel to Colorado Springs for Saturday courses and to Pueblo for Sunday courses. Classes meet eight times per semester, approximately every other weekend.

The in-person MSW program offers two entry pathways based on a student's previous education.
For Students With Any Undergraduate Degree
Generalist Standing is available to applicants with any undergraduate degree and at least 18 credit hours of liberal arts coursework.
The MSW degree can be completed in approximately two years, or six semesters.
For Students With a CSWE-Accredited BSW
Advanced Standing allows eligible students who have earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited program to enter directly into the second year of the MSW program.
The MSW degree can be completed in approximately one year, or three semesters.
