Scholarship Opportunities

There are a number of different scholarship opportunities available through Army ROTC which are awarded on a highly competitive selection basis. Scholarship winners also receive a tax-free subsistence allowance of $300 a month for freshman, $350 a month for sophomores, $450 a month for juniors and $500 a month for seniors. Also included is $900 a semester for books and supplies.

    High School Information

    On-Campus Information

    We also have three-year and two-year ROTC scholarships available to students already on campus. The applicat​ions for these scholarships are available at the Department of Military Science located on the Colorado State University-Pueblo campus as well as other universities across the country. We are accepting applications now!

    Active Duty Information

    You can come to one of our Green to Gold briefings that we give each Tuesday at the Fort Carson Education Center, Room 126 that start at 11:30. They normally last a little under an hour. If you can't come to a briefing, please call the number below for information or contact the ROTC department closest ​to where you are stationed.

    Scholarship cadets, in addition to their normal studies, take military science courses (that count as electives), participate in​ scheduled leadership labs, Physical Training, one weekend field training exercise per semester, and attend a five week ROTC Advanced Camp between their Junior and Senior years.

    Army ROTC Scholarships can be used at any of the following schools that offer ROTC: University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, Colorado State University-Pueblo, Colorado Technical University, Regis University and Colorado College.
