Compliance and Review Boards


The Biosafety Committee ensures all activities involving biohazardous materials are conducted in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and applicable University policies.

The Institutional Animal Care & Use Committees review research protocols and conduct evaluations of the institution's animal care and use. This includes inspections of facilities required by law.

The Institutional Review Board Committees apply research ethics by reviewing the methods proposed for research to ensure that they are ethical.
