ABOUT ME
Hey y’all! My name is Katie Meeks. I’m a Pueblo native-born and raised, and I love our town! I really enjoy talking to students, and I especially love talking about all the great opportunities and offerings that the university has! In my free time, you can catch me giggling with my friends, reading, painting, going to concerts, or rewatching one of my many favorite TV shows- The Office is always on a continuous loop in my house!
WHY CSU PUEBLO
I chose CSU Pueblo because of the personal feel- smaller classes, wonderful professors, and a tight-knit community! I graduated from CSU Pueblo with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and a minor in English. I loved my experience as a student, so much so that I wanted to start my career here! I'm so grateful to work alongside the faculty and staff members who I so greatly admired as a student!

- I am an EXTREMELY sarcastic person and almost never take anything seriously- I am sincerely sorry to my coworkers who have to deal with me.
- I can’t get enough of school- I have a master’s degree and a marketing certificate on top of my bachelor’s!
- Taylor Swift has been my number-one artist on Spotify for years 😊
Not So Fun Facts
- I’m a grammar nerd- misspellings and misplaced commas make my head hurt!
- I cannot handle spicy food!
- I’ve lived in Colorado all my life but have never been snowboarding or skiing 🙁
