Bio
Emily Thomas holds a Master of Music degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Idaho, during which time she studied under Dr. Eneida Larti and worked as a Teaching Assistant for the university's music department. Her duties involved giving both private and group piano instruction, working as an accompanist and choir pianist. She also worked as a private piano teacher through the university's Preparatory Division. In addition, Mrs. Thomas involved herself in the University's chapter of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) where she served as Vice-President and President.
She received a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in Piano Pedagogy in 2019 from Colorado State University-Pueblo. There she studied both piano and organ under the tutelage of Dr. Zahari Metchkov. During that time Mrs. Thomas was a founding member of CSUP's local chapter of MTNA and served as its Vice-President.
In addition to her higher education Mrs. Thomas has taught music lessons privately since 2011. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association for which she has presented at the state a national level. She also has served as an assistant church pianist.
