Elena Sidorova, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Elena Sidorova is the Academic Coordinator of SCITT with expertise in railway engineering with over 10 years of experience in railroad vehicles dynamics, specializing in interaction of railroad trains and machines and railroad track including force, wear analysis and derailment causes investigation. She earned her Ph.D. in railroad engineering from Railway Research Institute of Russian Railways in 2018 and M.S. in the same field from Moscow Institute of Railways (Russia). Dr. Sidorova also holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering from the Moscow Aviation Institute. She is an expert in design and development of existing and new railroad vehicles and related components. She is an experienced researcher, having done research with the Joint Scientific Council of Russian Railways, the Russian Railway Research Institute of Russian Railways and Russian University of Transport.
