Program Overview
The Economics BSBA program provides students with the knowledge and skills to understand economics' theoretical and conceptual basis. Students will learn how the spending habits of individuals and communities impact various aspects of finances, spending, and supply and demand.
Students in the Economics program can specialize in their field of interest through emphasis areas in Finance.
The Hasan School of Business is internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only 5% of business schools worldwide hold this accreditation.

The Economics program prepares students to work in a wide variety of career opportunities including education, government, financial analyst, business manager, operation management, and much more.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH AN ECONOMICS DEGREE?
A degree in Economics is designed to be completed in four years. The degree requires the accumulation of 120 credit hours. For students completing in four years, the schedule usually involves 30 credit hours per academic year or 15 hours per semester. Some students finish more quickly by taking additional courses in the summer. Others with demanding work or family commitments may take longer to finish.
