Information – Class of 2026

Supporting our graduates with honor, excellence, and pride.

Commencement Ceremony Duration & Etiquette

Each ceremony is expected to last approximately two and a half hours. Graduates will not be able to exit the ceremony early and must remain seated for the duration of the program. Out of respect for all graduates in attendance, we kindly ask that guests remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony.

Staff Support & Information

Staff play a vital role in ensuring the success of Commencement. Whether greeting guests, supporting graduates, or assisting operations, every role contributes to a memorable experience.

📝 Staff Assignment Request Form

All full-time staff are required to work commencement. Any requests for time off must be communicated directly to your department’s Vice President for approval.

If your department has a separate ceremony/event, it DOES NOT count for your required commencement hours.

Part-time staff are not required to work; however, those who wish to do so may volunteer to assist with commencement activities.

🎯 Training with Your Assigned Committee

A training will be held on by your committee lead(s) that cover arrival procedures, expectations & tasks, safety guidance, and emergency communication protocols.

📋 Assignment Expectations

Arrive at staff check-in at 5:30am.

Staffing leads will do their best to accommodate your preference. The final assignment rankings may differ based on availability and other factors.

Requirements for these committees may include, but not limited to, standing for a prolonged time, and lifting ~20 lbs.

Faculty Information

Faculty are an important part of the Commencement experience. Your presence helps honor our graduates’ achievements and represents the academic tradition and support that have guided them to this milestone.

Faculty Participation

Faculty members are invited to participate in the academic procession and sit in the faculty seating area on the field. Regalia may be ordered through the CSU Pueblo Bookstore.

Arrival Information

Faculty will need to arrive at the Leomiti Warrior Center by 7:15am. Parking for Faculty and staff will be at the lots on top of campus. Refer to maps. 

Breakfast will be available.

Parking & Arrival Information

Faculty and staff play a key role in ensuring a smooth start to Commencement. Please review parking details and arrival expectations below.

⏰ Arrival Time

All participating staff should arrive at the ThunderBowl Stadium no later than 5:30 AM. Gates open for guests at 6:30 AM.

 

All participating faculty should arrive at the Leomiti Warrior Center no later than 7:15 AM.

🪪 Check-In Location

Faculty and staff should enter at Gate 4 at the south entrance of the stadium. Look for the Faculty & Staff Gate Signage.

🚗 Parking Information

Free parking is available in the campus parking lots near academic buildings for faculty & staff. ADA-accessible parking is located on the west side of the stadium. Please follow the posted signage and directions from campus safety officers.

🚎 Shuttle & Accessibility

Shuttle service will be provided from the west lots beginning at 5:45 AM. ADA shuttles are available for individuals requiring assistance. Please allow extra time if you plan to use the shuttle system.

☀️ Weather & Attire

The ceremony will take place outdoors — rain or shine. Please dress appropriately under your academic regalia and wear comfortable shoes for walking on turf or concrete surfaces.

🏟️ Please allow extra time for traffic and guest arrival. Early arrival helps ensure a smooth start to the ceremony for everyone involved.

Processional & Ceremony Details

Faculty and staff play key roles in ensuring the ceremony runs smoothly from start to finish. Please review the processional lineup and on-field expectations below.

Lineup Instructions

The faculty lineup will begin promptly at 8:15 AM near the south stadium tunnel. Ushers will assist with organizing faculty in the correct order for the processional. Please remain in position once you are lined up.

Processional Start Time

The processional begins at 8:30 AM sharp. Faculty will lead graduates onto the field. Please maintain a steady walking pace and follow usher instructions.

Faculty Seating

Faculty will be seated in the reserved sections to the in the first few rows on the field. Staff volunteers may be positioned throughout the stadium for operational support.
