Thank you for visiting CHASS. Our college offers degrees in Art, Criminology, English, History, Media Communication, Music, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, and Spanish—along with a wide range of minors designed to expand your academic and career pathways.

Our Mission

We provide opportunities for students to become ethical, socially responsible, and engaged learners prepared to lead in a dynamic global environment.

Our Vision

We promote lifelong learning and community partnerships while cultivating creativity, critical thinking, and technological literacy through real-world experiences.

Career Relevance & Innovation

CHASS connects liberal arts education to today’s workforce—developing critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills while integrating emerging technologies like GenAI and digital media.

Beyond the classroom, students gain hands-on experience through internships, fieldwork, community partnerships, study abroad, and undergraduate research—preparing them to succeed in careers where creativity and technological fluency intersect.

If you need information about any of our programs or assistance with advising—even if you are still exploring your major—please reach out. We are happy to connect you with faculty, advisors, and department leaders who can guide your journey.

We look forward to welcoming you to the CHASS community.
