Dr. Sonja Ardoin will be on campus on Wednesday, March 28th at 7 p.m. in LARC 109 where she will give a presentation on first generation college students and identity. Dr. Ardoin joins us from Boston University where she serves as the Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor of the Higher Education Program. Her expertise includes social class identity in higher education; college access and success for first generation college students and rural students; student and women’s leadership; and career preparation and pathways in higher education and student affairs. This program is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Student Engagement and Leadership, First Generation College Student Mentor Program, and the University Library.I
