Program Admissions

placeholder

As a highly diverse program at CSU Pueblo, the field of biology is enormous, with many subfields. Our undergraduate program provides students with a versatile background of the major areas within biology, along with the opportunity to select courses to fit their personal interests. The biology programs prepare students to work in education, research, government, medical practice, and much more.

Each of the pre-professional programs has an advisor who can provide detailed and current information about the undergraduate work which the student should pursue to provide the foundation necessary for later entry into a professional school.

Students are highly encouraged to contact the specialized advisor as early as possible. A list of advisors is available in the departmental office (LS 210).

CSU Pueblo is a moderately selective institution, and we are committed to providing access to a 4-year college degree to any student who is academically prepared. We look at several factors to determine your preparation, including assessment scores, life experience, GPA, and academic rigor.
