Kim Blount is an experienced Executive Assistant and has been with Colorado State University Pueblo for more than a decade. Kim served as the Assistant to the Dean of the Hasan School of Business for 5 years. As the Office Manager for the Office of Organizational Development and Advancement, Kim oversees annual budgets of more than $8 million, directs events, manages travel, and serves as a liaison for various advisory boards and campus initiatives.
Alexandra Hansen

Alex Hansen is the Advancement team’s Denver-based Regional Development Officer. Alex began her higher education advancement work with CSU Pueblo in 2022 after starting her career in non-profit development. After graduating as a multicultural scholar from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2016, Alex is drawn to missions that advance equity and opportunity amongst historically overlooked groups. This passion fuels Alex’s work at CSU Pueblo, such as securing over $2M in private and public grants, leading alumni events, or forming partnerships with the CSU System and Denver-based organizations. Alex is dedicated to supporting students by growing the University’s reach and reputation beyond Pueblo through innovative fundraising, refreshed communications, and collaboration with a forward-thinking team.
