Prevention Education

The Pack Has Your Back

CSU Pueblo Green Dot Program

At CSU Pueblo we believe every student deserves to feel safe, supported and empowered. Green Dot is a research-supported bystander intervention program that equips students with simple, practical tools to prevent interpersonal violence such as dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

When you choose to step in, speak up, or take action to promote safety and interrupt harm, you create a Green Dot. When many of us act, we shift the culture.

  • We don’t tolerate violence
  • Every Thunderwolf makes a difference
  • The Pack has your back!

What Green Dot Looks Like at CSU Pueblo

Red Dots

A Red Dot represents an act of interpersonal violence such as intimidation, stalking, or assault.

  • Shaming or threatening an intimate partner
  • Using intimidation or coercion
  • Physical harm such as a shove or slap
  • Repeated unwanted contact or stalking
  • Using alcohol or drugs as an excuse for assault

Green Dots

Green Dots represent actions taken to prevent violence and support others.

  • Checking in when something seems off
  • Helping a friend get home safely
  • Contacting campus staff or safety
  • Interrupting a concerning situation
  • Promoting awareness about prevention

Every Green Dot — even 10 seconds of courage — helps protect our campus.

No one has to do everything, but everyone can do something.
