ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Mariah, and I am the Nursing and Health Science Recruitment Coordinator. That means I help all of the undergraduate students from Southern Colorado learn about our nursing program at CSU Pueblo. I am originally from Dallas, TX and moved to Fort Hood, TX in 2021 because of my husband's military contract. After his 3-year contract, we moved to Pueblo, CO in March 2024. I have been married since 2019 and have two children. I have worked in education since 2016, and I love what I do!
WHY CSU PUEBLO
I was a first-generation college student, so I had to navigate the college-going process by myself. The university I went to did not specialize in my particular situation, so I felt like I was left to my own devices in a lot of ways. CSU Pueblo is focused on first generation college students and has SO many resources available. This is extremely helpful for our students when navigating all the many intricacies of university life. CSU Pueblo is built on a well-rounded, wholistic education experience - helping students with their physical, emotional, and academic needs. You belong here!
