Pack Pantry: Where No Wolf Goes Hungry

The Pack Pantry started at CSU Pueblo thanks to caring individuals who saw the challenges many on campus face with having enough food. Founded in 2014 by a dedicated student, it continues to provide free food thanks to partnerships with the Care and Share Food Bank and generous community donations.

At CSU Pueblo, we’re committed to supporting the whole student — not just in the classroom, but in life. In addition to the Pack Pantry, there are other valuable resources available to help you meet basic needs and thrive.

Need Help Paying for Groceries? You Might Qualify for SNAP

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps eligible students afford groceries each month — giving you more peace of mind and more money to focus on school and daily life.

Many students don’t realize they may qualify for SNAP, especially if they:

  • Work at least 20 hours per week
  • Participate in a federal or state work-study program
  • Care for a dependent
  • Receive TANF or other public assistance
  • Meet income eligibility guidelines

Benefits are provided through a Colorado Quest Card (like a debit card) and can be used at most grocery stores and some farmers' markets.

Need help with the application? Submit a Pack CARES referral and someone will follow up to guide you.
