NetID

NetID - Colorado State University System

Your NetID is a Colorado State University System network identity that replaces CSU Pueblo eAccounts.

  •

    Who receives a NetID?

A NetID is assigned to all applicants, students, faculty, staff and associates at CSU Pueblo.

  •

Why do I need a NetID?

An active NetID is required for login to Microsoft 365 email and many other systems at CSU.
  •

What is the format of a NetID?

    • C followed by your 9-digit CSU ID.
    • Example: C899456789
  •

    What is my CSU ID?

Your CSU ID is a 9-digit number that begins with an 8.

It is a unique identifier for everyone at CSU Pueblo within the university system.

  •

How do I obtain or find my CSU ID?

Students and employees can view their CSU ID in Personal Access to Web Services (PAWS): PAWS Student Login or PAWS Employee Login

If you don't know your CSU ID or NetID:

  •

How do I activate my NetID?

Choose Activate. We will verify your identity, and you will be able to select a password and provide other details to activate your NetID.
  •

I already have a NetID. How do I see and update my information?

To view or update your information, select an item from the View/Update menu and log in with your existing NetID.
  •

Where can I find more information about NetID?

  •

What is Duo and why does the CSU System use it?

Duo is a tool that provides two-factor authentication to better protect your account by requiring an additional piece of information beyond your username and password. When you access certain CSU System services – including Microsoft 365 applications (OneDrive, Teams, etc.) and university email accounts, CSU’s VPN, HR, and Banner – you will be required to use a device that you have (mobile phone, desk phone, or a hardware token) to provide an additional layer of security to your account. This is done by receiving a push authentication request through the Duo Mobile App, a phone call, or entering a generated code.
