Faculty and students of the Department of English and World Languages regularly collaborate with the faculty, students, and community members to create online and print publications. Students can publish their own creative work in Tempered Steel, their academic writing in El Rio, work as an Editorial Assistant for Pilgrimage, and discover other opportunities to publish.

Pilgrimage Magazine, founded in 1976, is published two times a year and welcomes creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, translation, and other forms of creative writing and favors writing on themes related to place, soul, spirit, and social justice.
