Welcome to the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.

I am pleased to know that you are interested in what Colorado State University-Pueblo can contribute to your future, and I look forward to congratulating you on your admission!

Our university provides an exciting learning environment that is growing fast because of students like you. Our expanded academic offerings, new campus facilities, vibrant student life, various athletics, and professors and staff will contribute to your success. CSU-Pueblo is an exciting place to live and learn.

Our college offers degrees in Art, Music, Mass Communications, English, Foreign Languages, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology/Criminology, and Social Work, along with various minors. If you need information about any of our programs or help getting advised for classes—even if you are undecided about your major—do not hesitate to contact me or my staff. We will be glad to assign an advisor or department chair to help. You can also visit our web site, which has links to all the academic programs we offer.

About William Folkestad

Dr. Folkestad joined the faculty of CSU-Pueblo in 2009 as Chair of the Department of Art. He earned a master’s and a doctorate degree in Art History from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington.
