Dr. Howlett from the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Wake Forest School of Medicine will give a talk, "Regulation of the Pot-Holder: CB1 cannabinoid receptors and associated proteins," and will cover how the CB1cannabinoid receptor is a therapeutic target for treatment of addictions, neurodegenerative disorders and pain management amongst other points.
