About Spiritual Well-Being

The Spiritual Wellness Program at CSU Pueblo is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where students, faculty, and staff can explore and nurture their spiritual, religious, and secular identities. Rooted in the university’s Principles of Community and its commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice, our program aims to create spaces that encourage personal growth, understanding, and respect for diverse beliefs. Through events, workshops, and resources, we strive to provide opportunities for meaningful connections, reflection, and holistic well-being. We believe that embracing and celebrating all belief identities enriches our campus community, making CSU Pueblo a place where everyone can thrive.

Better Together: Our Mission

The Spiritual Well-being Initiatives at CSU Pueblo aim to focus greater attention on diverse spiritual, religious and secular (non-religious) belief identities by educating, programming, celebrating, providing spiritual well-being resources, and promoting constructive engagement across belief differences.

Supporting Belief Inclusion: Our Goals

These initiatives support CSU Pueblo in becoming a proactive civic space that prioritizes religious and belief diversity and fosters productive engagement through dialogue, relationships, programs, and policy. The benefits to the university community include making good on our inclusive mission, recruiting and retaining a diverse student, faculty, and staff community, and advancing health, and well-being efforts by expanding opportunities for exploring beliefs, values, meaning, and purpose. Lastly, prioritizing religious/belief pluralism offers students professional and civic competencies that position them well to be society’s next leaders.
