Health & Fitness Certification for the Department of Corrections
This is a Health and Fitness Certification developed specifically for students in the Colorado Department of Corrections. The 12 credit hour certification will prepare students to sit for a personal training certificate and work in a variety of fitness locations. The certificate is limited to students in the Colorado Department of Corrections.
Requirements
The Certificate in Health & Fitness requires a total of 12 credit hours.
Recreation Leadership Certificate
The School of Health Sciences & Human Movement offers a certificate in recreation leadership that will prepare students to assist recreation professionals, to lead programs and excursions in the outdoors, and will act as a precursor to the BS degree in EXPER with a concentration in recreation.
Requirements
The Certificate in Recreation Leadership requires a total of 15 credit hours.
Health Coaching Certificate
The School of Health Sciences & Human Movement offers a certificate in Health Coaching, designed to prepare students to support individuals in achieving their health and wellness goals. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills to assist health professionals, guide clients in making sustainable lifestyle changes, and promote overall well-being.
The certificate also serves as a strong foundation for those pursuing further studies in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, or related fields.
Requirements
The Certificate in Health Coaching requires a total of 21 credit hours.
