The things they are working through encourage me to work through my own hardships, which oftentimes pale in comparison to the barriers they are overcoming just to be here at CSU Pueblo. When they succeed, I feel like there's hope for me."

"I am proud to work with a diverse group of students who are trying to change their lives and that their families by getting an education and finding careers. Many of our students are first-generation and come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds like I did. I was given an opportunity to make a difference in my life and I am proud to have the ability to do the same for others."
