A climate change debate will happen on Saturday December 2 nd at 2 PM. There will be Dr. Scott Denning from the Colorado State University Fort Collins Department of Atmospheric Science defending the global warming side. He has appeared several times in the Heartland Conferences and says that he loves to confront hostile opposition. Representing the opposition is Dr. Howard (Cork) Hayden who has retired after 32 years from the University of Connecticut where he spent 32 years teaching physics and doing research. The venue is the auditorium in the Life Sciences Building LS 105. The moderator will be Dr. Rick Kreminski who has been Dean of the College of Science and Math and also the Provost of the university. The debate will be tightly controlled and made as orderly and civil as possible. We hope to demonstrate that Free Speech is possible and is respected at CSUP and in the community.
