Come to a training session with Dr. Patty Witkowsky to discuss how "meeting students where they are" can help in their engagement, success, graduation and placement. We all understand the importance of student retention, but we sometimes provide cookie cutter methods and a "one-size-fits-all" philosophy, thinking it will increase those numbers. After this session with Dr. Witkowsky, our hope is that you become able to identify the different stages and areas of student development and better tailor your practice to use that information to provide the best experience for students. (This session will be followed later in the day by an information session by Dr. Witkowsky on UCCS' graduate programs.)
