The Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, and Geography is pleased to offer various opportunities for students to travel and study abroad through programs at affiliated universities throughout the world.

HIST 291/491 Greece through Space and Time: we will study Greek History from the Bronze Age to the present and we will explore ancient art and monuments of the Greek world from the Bronze Age through the Hellenistic Period. This course is open to majors and non-majors. Community members may also enroll in a non-credit course through Extended Studies.

Students have the opportunity to travel and learn in countries such as Spain, France, Italy, England, Greece, Germany, and other countries to live new experiences. 

Every trip is an opportunity for self-discovery, new adventures, and to make friendships that will last a lifetime.

    Are financial aid and scholarships available to students participating in travel program or study aboard?

    Financial aid is available to students participating in the travel program or semester study abroad program at the affiliated universities. However, you must qualify for financial aid and be enrolled in the applicable CSU Pueblo courses.

    How long do study aboard programs take?

    CSU Pueblo offers semesters and full academic year study abroad experiences. The student can choose to spend either a semester or the full academic year in France, Italy, and other countries.

    The cost of studying abroad varies by country. Students interested in study abroad should contact the Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, and Geography for further assistance.

    Where will I live during my study abroad program?

    Students typically live in apartments either in the upper or lower city. They may choose to live alone or with other international students. Once accepted to the affiliated university, a student will be able to access its university housing website.
