Important Dates & Announcements
Commencement Ceremony Duration & Etiquette
Each ceremony is expected to last approximately two and a half hours. Graduates will not be able to exit the ceremony early and must remain seated for the duration of the program. Out of respect for all graduates in attendance, we kindly ask that guests remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony.
🎓 Announcement: Spring 2026 Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl. Gates open at 6:30 AM. Ceremony begins at 8:30 AM.
Apply for Graduation
Submit your electronic graduation contract from PAWS to your advisor for approval by February 13, 2026.
Grad Fair
Graduate may attend Grad Fair on March 18 or 19, 2026 from 8am-5pm in the OSC Lobby for regalia questions, reserving the graduate seat & claiming guest tickets, and important information.
MANDATORY Packet Pickup
Mandatory for all graduates to attend to pick up all pre-arrival information, academic cords, regalia and other details.
Date and Time: May 14, 2026 from 11am-6pm & May 15, 2026 9am-7pm
Location: OSC Lobby
Commencement Ceremony
The ceremony begins promptly at 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Graduates should be at grad staging by 6:30 AM.

Ceremony Details
Location
The commencement ceremony will take place at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl Stadium, located at
2200 Bonforte Blvd, Pueblo, CO 81001.
Parking
Free parking is available in all lots on top of campus. Designated ADA-accessible parking and graduate parking is located on the west side of the Thunderbowl stadium.
Accessibility
The venue is accessible for guests and graduates. ASL & Spanish interpreters will be available, and seating areas for guests with mobility needs will be available.
Regalia & Dress Code
Graduates must wear the official CSU Pueblo cap, gown, and tassel. Academic honor cords will be provided at Packet Pickup.
Livestream
Family and friends unable to attend can view the ceremony live. A direct link will be available here one week before commencement.
