At CSU-Pueblo we are committed to helping students explore financing
options to help them achieve their educational goals.. Approximately
80 percent of our students receive some type of assistance. CSU-Pueblo’s
Financial Aid office administers more than $12.1 million in federal and
state grant aid. In addition to that our office administers $6.7 million in
institutional aid. We hope that you find our website (along with

helpful in answering any questions you may have about financial aid or the
financial aid process.
First Steps for Financial Aid
- Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at
www.fafsa.gov; this will require a
Federal Student Aid
ID & password (both yourself and your
parent if you are a dependent
student). The CSU-Pueblo school code for the FAFSA
- Complete your CSU-Pueblo Foundation Scholarship
Application starting October 1.
- If you are a Colorado resident and working on your undergraduate
degree, complete the COF application.*
- Remember - the priority deadline for the FAFSA is March 1 and the CSU-Pueblo Foundation Scholarship Application is December 24th - Prior to the new academic
year's fall semester. The final deadline for the scholarship application is March 1.
Remember to review your Financial Aid award to see if you need to
turn in any further documents, or alter your loan awards. This can
be accessed through your PAWS

Choose to accept, reduce, or decline
any student loans, and if you are borrowing student loans,
complete your Master
Promissory Note and Entrance
Counseling.* Once you have read and understand
all the terms and conditions, click the acknowledgment check
box at the bottom of your award. Fill out
Deposit form and return to Financial Aid to have
any excess funds from your financial aid automatically deposited into your
checking/savings account.* Please remember that disbursement occurs twice a
year - before fall semester, and before spring semester.
