Resources and Activities for Students of French

Language Center

(PSYCH 147) This facility offers wonderful resources, services and activities.  You can find computers, books, DVDs and games. There are also tutoring and conversation partners waiting to help students exercise their language skills. Activities include movie nights, language circles, club gatherings, festivals, and game nights. It is the perfect place to exercise your language skills in a social environment. Daily hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00. Contact the Supervisor of the Language Center for additional information.

Student Financial Services

Financial aid is available to students participating in the Summer Travel program or semester Study Abroad at the affiliated French universities. However you must qualify for financial aid and be enrolled in the applicable CSU-Pueblo French courses. Join other French speakers/students for Cercle Français conversation group that meets weekly on Mondays from 2:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m in the Foreign Language Center (Room #147 in the Psychology Building). It is an informal setting where we gather to speak French—all levels welcome.

Special Events

At various times during the academic year, special events or activities are planned.


Department-approved tutors are available for students enrolled in French 100 and 200 courses. You may contact the General Education Tutoring Center in LARC 251 and ask for Chad Pickering, the Writing Coordinator, to set up an appointment.
