Partners: How to Participate

For employers, career readiness plays an important role in sourcing talent, providing a means of identifying key skills and abilities across all job functions. Similarly, career readiness offers employers a framework for developing talent through internship and other experiential education programs.

CSU Pueblo Works provides students with career relevant work experience to set students up for success now and in their future. Participating students will document accomplished NACE Career Readiness skills via a portfolio.

There are many advantages in partnering with CSU Pueblo Works, such as:

  • Cost sharing: Dependant on the job opportunity, CSU Pueblo will pay 50% of student wages.
  • Recruitment: As a partner, you get to work with students prior to graduation and get the first pick at recruiting top talent.
  • Career Readiness: Students that are part of the Works initiative have additional development in the eight Career Readiness skills that are highly sought out in the job market.
  • Diversity: Student workers bring fresh ideas and perspectives to daily operations and ongoing projects.

Vaccination Requirement and Exemptions
