    What is CSU Pueblo Works?

    CSU Pueblo Works assists students throughout their academic journey by providing career building work experiences. In addition, CSU Pueblo Works will assist students in understanding and developing NACE Career Readiness skills that prepare them for success in the workplace and lifelong career management.


    Do I have to participate as a student?

    Students are not required to participate, but we strongly believe that participation will make each student more marketable when entering the job market. CSU Pueblo Works connects students to job opportunities and also allows students to build a portfolio to showcase the eight Career Readiness skills looked for in the job market.

    How do I get started?

    Students can begin developing their portfolio within Blackboard LMS at any time and schedule a meeting with the Works Coordinator.

    What if I already found a job opportunity on my own?

    Students that already found a job opportunity are encouraged to meet with the Career Center to learn how to transfer learned skills and experiences into a strong portfolio and resume.

    How is Works related to Pathways?

    Starting in Fall 2021, all new students are placed on a Pathway to help connect them to support systems that will help them achieve their goals. One of the milestones and important steps in each Pathway is to participate in a CSU Pueblo Works initiative and get connected with the Works Coordinator for career relevant experiences.

Vaccination Requirement and Exemptions
