On Campus

Approximately 650 students are employed annually by CSU Pueblo. Students generally work from 10-15 hours per week and are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Hourly wages depend on job responsibilities and experience, with wages beginning at the minimum wage established by the State of Colorado. Students are paid once a month by method of electronic funds transfer to a designated account.

Off Campus

Off campus work opportunities are available throughout Pueblo during the school year, and throughout the United States during the summer months.

Depending on the job opportunity, CSU Pueblo Works help support part of a student's income with a selected organization, and get your foot in the door to a future employer after graduation.

Students can look under Student Employment for job opportunities on campus or work directly with an off campus employer. Regardless, students are encouraged to meet with the Works Coordinator to establish goals, track growth, and ensure that they meet the student qualifications for each job type.

Step 2 - Meet with the Works Coordinator

Students have the opportunity to meet with a Works Coordinator to find a job that best suits their skills and interests.

The Works Coordinator serves as a liaison and advocate for each student, helping connect them with the right job opportunities, departments, and organizations that might have a position available.
