3+2 Program
Earn a Baccalaureate and Master's degree.
The 3+2 Program offers students the unique opportunity to graduate with both a Baccalaureate and Master's degree in five years.
The School of Health Science and Human Movement offers a 3+2 Program in the areas below.
Athletic Training
CSU Pueblo is currently seeking accreditation for the Masters in Athletic Training program, which is not accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). The institution will be submitting a self-study to begin the accreditation process on July 1, 2021.
Submission of the self-study and completion of a site visit does not guarantee that the program will become accredited. Students that graduate from the program prior to accreditation WILL NOT be eligible to sit for the credentialing examination for athletic trainers and will not be eligible for licensure in most states.
Students interested in the Athletic Training 3+2 Program must declare their major as Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Pre-Athletic Training.
In the third year of the program, students will then apply into the Master of Science in Athletic Training program. Upon acceptance, students begin graduate coursework the following summer.
Students in this 3+2 Program graduate in five years with the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Pre-Athletic Training emphasis
- Master of Science in Athletic Training
