Bio

Fredlina Atencio is currently the Interim Office Support Specialist for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. She is a recent graduate from Colorado State University- Pueblo where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication an emphasis in integrated communication with a minor in Chicano Studies. Fredlina is a native of Colorado; born and raised in central Denver. She moved her family to Pueblo, Colorado in 2000 to have a better opportunity in life. Fredlina is currently a member of the Latino Chambers of Commerce and secretary of council #30013 for League United Latin Americans Citizens (LULAC). She also serves as the Secretary of the State of Colorado for League United Latin Americans Citizens (LULAC) and  Advisor for Alpha Psi Lambda fraternity. Atencio, is excited for the opportunity to work alongside diverse populations. She aspire to receive a Masters in Higher Education and ultimately receive a doctorate in the field of higher education.
